Murtaza Rakhimov is visiting Austria and Germany

The three-day visit of the official delegation RB, headed by President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, to Austria and Germany started on December 7.

On December 7 President RB has taken part in the 13th session of UNIDO in Vienna. Representatives of 173 states – the members of this UNO organization participated in the session, including the Russian delegation, headed by the deputy Minister of foreign affairs Alexander Yakovenko. The situation in the world in connection with the financial crisis, the ways of efficient aid to the developing countries, the program of action and UNIDO budget for the nearest four years were under discussion at the forum. Special emphasis was laid on the usage of “green” technologies in industry.

Along with the participation in UNIDO conference President RB held a meeting with the deputy UNIDO General Director Dmitry Piskunov and with the coordinator of UNIDO integrated program in Republic of Bashkortostan Uri Akhvlediani. The questions of Bashkortostan’s further interaction with this organization within the frames of the cooperation program of UNIDO with Russia were under discussion. Besides, President RB has held several business meetings and negotiations with the economic partners of Bashkortostan and the investors from Austria in Vienna.

On December 8 Murtaza Rakhimov intends to visit Germany. In the town of Lemferd President RB will become acquainted with the activity of the enterprise “ELASTOGRAN” on mass production of cottages. Here negotiations of President RB with the plant’s management and the presentation of the enterprise’s technologies will take place.

In the course of the trip Murtaza Rakhimov will have a talk with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Austria Stanislaw Osadchy.
