Meeting with the rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnitchy

On December 4 President RB Murtaza Rakhimov held a work meeting with the rector of the Moscow State University, the President of the Russian Union of Rectors, Academician Viktor Sadovnitchy in the Republic House. The rector arrived in Ufa to take part in the celebrities, devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Bashkir State University.

Questions of the higher education system development and cooperation of Bashkortostan’s education institutions with the Moscow State University were under discussion in the course of the meeting.

President RB thinks the country needs highly professional specialists for modernization of Russian economic system and in opinion of Murtaza Rakhimov the Bashkir State University can become one of the centers for training of such specialists.

“At present time specialists of the European class on all leading directions of social-economic development face high demand and our University has to become the powerful scientific and educational center, able to pull the whole education system along” – President RB underscored.

Viktor Sadovnitchy highly estimated the rich scientific experience and high level of scientific achievements of scientists, professors and pedagogues of our Republic and expressed assurance that the Bashkir State University would be further considered one of the leading institutes in the country and its graduates would be demanded in various branches of national economy.
