President RB Murtaza Rakhimov signed the decree on holding the III World Bashkir Congress (Kurultay).

With the purpose of assistance to preservation and further development of Bashkir nation’s culture, expansion of economic and cultural relations with the compatriots it is decided to hold the III World Bashkir Congress in Ufa in June 2010.

In accordance with the decree the Government of Bashkortostan is ordered to approve the staff of the steering committee and to work up the plan of actions on preparation, financing and holding the III World Bashkir Congress.

The control over execution of the decree is imposed on the Bashkir President’s Administration.
