Meeting, devoted to the National Unity Day, has taken place in Ufa

The meeting, devoted to the National Unity Day, has taken place in Ufa, on the square in front of the Russian Dramatic Theater. It was organized by the regional offices of “United Russia” and “United Russia Young Guardians”. The meeting was held under the slogan “Believe in Russia, believe in ourselves!” and chairman of State Council RB Constantine Tolkatchev and deputies of Russian State Duma and the Republican Parliament participated in it.

The first deputy secretary of “United Russia” regional political council Shamil Bikkulov congratulated the participants of the meeting with the national holiday and pointed to its historical sources.

“It is important that we are meeting this holiday not in the course of a struggle but being in unity, peace and harmony” – he said – “the all-Russian political party “United Russia” took the responsibility for the destiny of Russian society upon itself and the results of the last elections confirm the confidence of Russians in the party”.

The deputy head of “United Russia Young Guardians” regional staff Constantine Kanunnikov has taken the floor on behalf of young participants of the meeting:

“The nations of Russia had defended the Fatherland in 1612, thus showing that the national unity is the pledge of our present and the future” – he said – “We have to remember and revere the historical events, which consolidated our nations and the National Unity Day is the day of triumph over intestines and conflicts. All of us need powerful and united Russia, respected by the world community!”
