The IX interregional conference “Archeography of South Ural” has taken place in Ufa

The IX interregional scientific-practical conference “Archeography of South Ural – the State Archive service RB: history and up-to-dateness”, devoted to the 90th anniversary of the State Archive service RB, has taken place in Ufa today. It was traditionally organized by the Archive Dept under Government RB, the Institute of ethnological investigations, the Academy of sciences RB and by the Bashkir division of the Russian Historians-Archivists Society.

The head of the Archive Dept under Government RB Achmet Khismatullin, chairman of the Bashkir division of the Russian Historians-Archivists Society, Professor Aislu Unusova, veterans of the archive service and scientists from leading institutes of Bashkortostan and several Russian regions and archivists participated in the conference.

Participants of the forum discussed actual questions of the State Archive service history, the present state of archive affairs in the Republic, problems of archive document circulation etc.
