Days of Bashkir culture are held in Neftekamsk

The Days of Bashkir culture are held in the town of Neftekamsk and holding the month of Bashkir language and culture in October has already become a good tradition. The program of the month is rich with various concerts, meetings and exhibitions. Thus, within the frames of the Days of Bashkir culture the meeting of local citizens with Bashkir writers and poets, devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Union of Writers RB, has taken place in Neftekamsk and such popular Bashkir prose writers and poets as Ravil Bikbaev, Kadim Aralbaev, Irek Kinyabulatov, Hasan Nazar, Gulfia Unusova, Larisa Abdullina and Ramil Yanbekov took the floor before the audience. Their performances were accompanied with the show of artists of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society together with local amateur ensembles.

Solemn arrangements, devoted to the 19th anniversary of the state sovereignty declaration of Bashkortostan, have taken place in all culture houses of the town. The festive show “My Bashkortostan” was held in the town park.

The colorful family tree festival was held in the culture house of the village Tashkinovo and four families – Bashkir, Russian, Tatar and Mari – presented their genealogical trees to the villagers.

The contest of Bashkir national suit and the exhibitions “Ethnography of Bashkir nation” and “Sovereignty is the way to prosperity” were held in the local lore museum of Neftekamsk and canvasses of Bashkir painters were demonstrated at the Children’s Art School. The Days of Bashkir culture will be closed in Neftekamsk on October 24 with the final gala-show.
