Rail Sarbaev: the tasks on housing putting into operation have to be fulfilled

2,4 million square meters of dwelling have to be put into exploitation in Bashkortostan in 2009 and at present time 1,372 million are ready. As compared with the indices of the three quarters 2008 94,1% of housing are put into operation this year. The reasons of the gap were under discussion at today’s meeting in Government RB with participation of the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev.
Rail Sarbaev has said on housing building Bashkortostan runs at the level of 78% at that the budget financing wasn’t shut down so there are no any visual grounds to lower the housing rates. The Government RB still principally insists on lowering of one square meter cost.
“I understand that many developers hold their flats and hope the realty market will come alive in a period of time. Ufa still remains one of the most expensive cities in Russia and it can’t satisfy us. We will be more actively engaged in cottage building and we’ll achieve the drop of prices”. Rail Sarbaev has underscored the developers have to build up housing and mustn’t seek after large objects (schools, hospitals), financed at the expense of the budget, since this is the easiest way to profitable business and it is more difficult to erect cheap dwelling. Only 14,2% of housing is put into exploitation in Sterlitamac, 38,8% - in Sibay and 72,9% - in Ufa. Situation with dwelling looks difficult because just two months are left till the end of the year but both developers and city and regional administrations have to perform all their obligations on housing commission, Rail Sarbaev concluded.
