Meeting of the Republican Council on health protection is held in Bashkortostan

The field meeting of the Republican Council on health protection is held in Bashkortostan today. Bijbuliaksky, Miakinsky, Sterlibasevsky regions of Bashkortostan and the town of Meleuz became the sites for holding this already the fifth big medical council. The slogan of the today’s meeting is “The health of nation is the main treasure of Bashkortostan”.

The first field meeting of the Republican Council on health protection has taken place in 2005 in Baltachevsky, Askinsky, Karaidelsky and Tatyshlinsky regions. In 2006 the meeting was held in Zianchurinsky, Kugartchinsky and Kyurgazinsky regions and in the town of Kumertau, in 2007 – in Abzelilovsky, Baimaksky regions and in the town of Sibay and in 2008 – in Archangelsky, Beloretsky and Burziansky regions.

For all previous years of these field meetings, including this year too, about three billion rubles have been allocated by the Republican budget for development of the material and technical base of the Republican health protection institutions.

The Republican Council on health protection is a consultative body under President RB.
