Delegation of Bashkortostan is found in Chelyabinsk

Official delegation of Bashkortostan with President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov at the head is found in Chelyabinsk region today. The goal of thet rip is consolidation and development of partnership relations between our regions.

Bashkir delegation intends to visit the building objects in the settlement Novomuslumovo, the regional horse-sport center “Rifey”, the Federal cardiovascular surgery center, the Chelyabinsk center of positron-emission tomography and the Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant.

Besides, the delegation plans to sign the protocol on realization of the Agreement about trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between Government RB and Chelyabinsk regional Government in 2009-2011.

For many years Republic of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk region successfully cooperate between each other. The first Treaty about friendship and cooperation between our regions was signed on March 19, 1997. For the period beginning from 1998 the regions have signed nine documents. The last one – the Protocol on realization of the Agreement about joint cooperation in 2007-2008 – was signed on July 11, 2007, in Ufa.

In 2008 Bashkortostan held the second place by trade turnover with Chelyabinsk region. The volume of production, exported from Bashkortostan to Chelyabinsk region in 2008, made up 20,3 billion rubles. This is oil and chemicals, building materials, foodstuffs and consumer goods.

Same year Chelyabinsk region exported its goods to our Republic for the sum of 17,4 billion rubles – metal products, machines, building materials and products of light and food industry.
