The first meeting of Public Chamber RB is declared open in Ufa

The first meeting of the Public Chamber RB is declared open today in the House of State Council RB, Ufa. President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, Chairman of State Council RB Constantine Tolkatchev and the chief Federal Inspector in RB Peter Kapishnikov are taking part in its work.

The question about rules of the Public Chamber will be discussed at the meeting. Besides, the code of its members’ ethics will be approved there. The members of the Public Chamber have to elect its council, chairman of the Chamber and chairman’s deputy.

As it is known, the Public Chamber RB is established in accordance with the corresponding Republican law on April 3, 2009. It is called to provide the interaction between citizens, public communities and Republican state boards and local self-government boards with the purpose to take the needs and interests of citizens RB into account, for protection of rights and freedoms of citizens RB and liberties of public organizations when forming and pursuing state policy on the territory RB and also for public control over activity of state executive power boards RB.

The staff of the Public Chamber consists of 15 members, approved by the Decree of President RB from amongst the citizens, having special merits before the Republic and the society and 15 representatives of public communities – 30 people in a whole. The personal staff of the Public Chamber RB was published in Republican media several days ago.
