Consumer co-operation plays important role in solution of problems of rural population, developing socially significant functions and thus making the life of agrarians more comfortable.

The Bashkir Republican union of consumer societies holds remarkable place in co-operative movement in the country and this the economically strong, dynamically developing multi-branch structure today, contributing to integrated development of the country, It is good that the majority of consumer co-operation RB render all-round assistance to its shareholders and all agrarians despite the crisis, making new workplaces, purchasing milk, meat, vegetables and other agricultural production from population and developing the sphere of consumer and other services.
