Academician Asgat Gumerov is elected chairman of Public Chamber RB

The first meeting of the Public Chamber RB in Ufa is over. Members of the Public Chamber have elected the Vice-President of the Academy of sciences RB, Academician Asgat Gumerov, the deputy chairman of the qualification commission of the Advocatory Chamber RB Ivan Danilin, chairman of the executive committee of the Russian Congress RB Vladimir Samorodov, chairman of the Union of Women RB Rashida Sultanova, chairman of the Union of Employers RB Vladimir Shalom, the director of the Institute of history, language and literature RB Firdaus Khisamitdinova and the editor-in chief of the magazine “SHONKAR” Azamat Uldashbaev into the staff of the Chamber’s Council and they’ve passed the rules of the Public Chamber and the Code of its members’ ethics.

Asgat Gumerov is elected the chairman of the Chamber and Vladimir Samorod is elected his deputy.

“All of us want to live in modern society, the society with well-developed economic, cultural, legal and political relations between citizens and authority” – Agat Gumerov said- “We live in the period when people have rights and liberties and they want to be heard and to be sure. The receipts for ideal society don’t exist and it depends upon us in what our society will move further. Agreement means solidarity, justice and protection”.
