Leading hadj- operators of the world will gather in Kazan

The II international conference “Hadj – the past and the present” will start working in Kazan on June 29 and will last till July 1. All Russian and key leading world hadj-operators from CIS and countries of Balkan peninsula and guests from the countries, having a long-term experience in hadj organization and holding – from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Qatar and Kuwait will arrive in the capital of Tatarstan. Muftis from different Russian regions will be the honorable guests. For the first time hadj-operators will talk about the necessity to monitor the situation with hadj at present stage and also about the necessity to establish efficient mechanisms for hadj support both at federal and regional levels and concerning solution of possible problems. Besides, the questions concerning introduction of certain standards on hadj organization and holding on the territory of Russia, worked up by the interregional pilgrimage center “Idel-Hadj” will be under discussion too.

At the end of the conference its participants will approve the resolution and recommendations, which have to be sent to the address of heads of hadj-operators, Russian Council on hadj affairs and other organizations. These materials will be also placed on the hadj-sites and in mass-media. The conference is organized by the Eurasian Islamic council, Spiritual Muslim Dept of Tatarstan and by the interregional pilgrimage center “Idel-Hadj”.
