House of history and ethnography of Bashkir nation is opened in Istanbul

The House of history and ethnography of Bashkir nation was solemnly opened under the Representative Office RB in Turkish Republic in Istanbul within the frames of the Days of culture RB in Turkey. The deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev, the representative RB under the Trade Delegates RF in Turkish Republic Kanshaubi Miziev and other officials took part in the solemn opening ceremony, including the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Turkish Republic Vladimir Ivanovsky. As the General Director of the National Museum RB Gali Valiullin said, the predestination of the House of history and ethnography of Bashkir nation is to tell shortly about Bashkir nation, its origin, traditions and customs and modern development of Bashkir land to Turkish public community.

Exposition of he House consists of two parts. The first part contains general information about Bashkortostan: its geographical position in Russia, state symbols etc. The materials about life and activity of the prominent state and public leader, one of the founders of Bashkir autonomy, Turk-specialist Achmet-Zaki Validi is located here too.

The historical part tells about ancient and unique archeological monuments on the territory RB and demonstrates the first information about ancient Bashkirs, the unique historical documents, including Bashkir genealogies. Modern achievements RB in oil processing, industry, agriculture, science and culture are demonstrated on photos.
