Vladimir Samorodov: We can become the example for Russia in careful preservation of historical heritage of our ancestors

Chairman of Russian Congress RB Vladimir Samorodov accented the attention of the participants of today’s news-conference in the news-agency “Bashinform” on the goals of the forthcoming II Congress of the Nations Assembly RB.

“First of all it will be the report about what has been done by us” – he mentioned – “Unity and formation of respectful attitude to culture, traditions and languages of all nations, inhabiting modern Bashkortostan, were the main priorities for the years, passed since the First Assembly’s Congress. I think the Nations Assembly RB has coped with this challenge successfully. It was our consolidated job”.

The leader of Russian congress RB says that one more important task for the forthcoming Congress, which practically the representatives of all nations RB are going to take part in, is to analyze state and prospects in development of international relations in our Republic.

“We can become the example for Russian Federation in careful preservation of the historical heritage of our ancestors, who from the ancient times lived here side by side supporting each other, preserving and developing the traditions of respectful interrelations, created not just by one generation long before us”.

“Development and preservation of national cultures and languages will be definitely our main priorities” – he underscored.

The Nations Assembly RB was founded in 2000. At the First Congress, held in December 2000, less than one dozen of national-cultural centers joined it. Now this number is more than 30. The leaders of ten largest ethnic communities form the Public Council under President RB and take an active part in discussion of the most actual problems in national policy and social-economic progress of Bashkortostan.
