President RB has become acquainted with achievements of Orenburg region

President RB Murtaza Rakhimov has become acquainted with the achievements in economic and social spheres in Orenburg region today. President RB is going to take part in the meeting of Volga federal district Council in the city of Orenburg. Before the beginning of the meeting President RB has visited the sports center “Olympic”. The center was opened in 2007. Here citizens of Orenburg go in for different kinds of sports, including figure skating and hockey – all conditions are available for that. President RB has inspected the sports halls and the ice ring. After that Murtaza Rakhimov has visited the exhibition “Orenburg region today”. Here the achievements of the region in different spheres of economics are demonstrated, including investment projects in sphere of building, agriculture, tourism and other spheres, developed on the territory of Orenburg region. President RB mentioned that both regions closely cooperated in economic and social sphere but the potential for further progress was still to the fore and achievements of Orenburg region proved that. Bashkortostan supplies Orenburg region with diesel fuel, soda ash and hydrate of sodium, black oil, polyvinylchloride resin, soft roofing and wall materials, plywood and other goods. Our Republic in its turn imports rolled ferrous metals, coal, cement, bitumen and electric engines from Orenburg.
