Bashkir authority will bar from decline in population living standards

President RB Murtaza Rakhimov stated about inadmissibility to struggle with the crisis at the expense of the decline of population living standards at the last expanded meeting of Government RB. President RB called efficient social policy the absolute priority in social-economic development RB.

“We’ll undertake everything possible to preserve the existing population social support level” – President RB said – “It is quite clear that all social obligations of the state before people, preservation of basic social guarantees and living standards for families with scanty means and elderly people and expanded social support for them should become mandatory”.

Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev said, speaking at the meeting, that summary expenses of budget RB for social sphere, including health protection, made up 72,1 billion rubles in 2008, i.e. 67,1% of all expenses of the Republican exchequer.

“The budget parameters in 2009, approved by State Council-Kurultay-RB, are formed taking full financial provision of the state social obligations irrespective of the external factors and tendencies in our economics into account” – Rail Sarbaev said – “We have neither reasons nor grounds for revision of the budget social items”.
