In Bashkiria, unknown persons threw landmine into trash
The day before, while sorting waste at the Beloretsk waste sorting center, workers discovered an object that appeared to be a landmine. Explosives experts from the OMON of the National Guard of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan arrived at the scene.
As reported by the department's press service, specialists cordoned off the danger zone and determined that the find was a training anti-tank mine in a heavily corroded state. According to experts' conclusions, it posed no threat to those around it.
The National Guard Directorate for the Republic of Bashkortostan thanked the workers for their vigilance. Thanks to the timely call, the inspection proceeded routinely, and no one's life was in danger.
