Six residents of Bashkiria will answer in court for staging traffic accident
Residents of Sterlitamak are accused of fraud in the insurance sector.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, from 2022 to 2024, the accused organized a scheme to stage car accidents. Based on fictitious documents about traffic accidents, insurance companies paid almost 700,000 rubles to them and their accomplices.
All defendants in the case admitted their guilt. As a security measure, their vehicles were seized. The criminal case was sent to the Sterlitamak City Court for consideration on the merits.
