Resident of Bashkiria loses BMW for repeat drunk driving
The Sterlitamak City Court handed down a guilty verdict in a criminal case against a 40-year-old local resident under the article "operating a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person previously subjected to administrative punishment for a similar offense."
According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in November 2025, the man drove a BMW 745i vehicle while in a state of alcoholic intoxication. At the same time, he had previously been held liable for a similar act.
The defendant fully admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to 200 hours of mandatory labor and deprived him of the right to operate vehicles for 2 years and 6 months. In addition, the foreign-made car was confiscated for state revenue.
