Dry grass was burning in three districts of Bashkiria
The State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Emergency Situations reported the current information on the forest fire situation.
According to the department, three instances of dry-vegetation fires were recorded over the past 24 hours in the Sterlitamaksky, Uchalinsky, and Blagoveshchensky districts. All fires were promptly extinguished.
In total, since the beginning of 2026, 6 forest fire outbreaks have occurred covering a total area of more than 55 hectares, and 148 dry vegetation fires have occurred covering a total area of more than 221 hectares.
