Resident of Bashkiria loses expensive foreign car for drunk driving
The Sterlitamak City Court heard a criminal case against a 38-year-old local resident.
According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in December 2025, traffic police officers stopped a Mitsubishi Outlander car, driven by a driver with clear signs of alcohol intoxication. A medical examination confirmed that he was drunk.
The defendant fully admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to 120 hours of compulsory community service and deprived him of the right to operate vehicles for 2 years. In addition, the expensive car was confiscated for the benefit of the state.
