In Bashkiria, drunk driver with fake license was detained
He purchased the forged document via social networks for 110,000 rubles.
In the village of Kushnarenkovo, traffic police officers stopped a "Lada Granta" driven by a 34-year-old local resident who was clearly in a state of intoxication. The man explained that he was going for an energy drink.
The document check surprised even experienced inspectors: the presented driver's license was issued to another person, and the motorist himself had never obtained a license. He purchased the forged document via social networks for 110,000 rubles.
An administrative case was drawn up against the offender under Article 12.8, Part 3, of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (driving while intoxicated without a license). The issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — for the use of a forged document — is also being decided, the regional state traffic inspectorate reported.
The offender's car was sent to a specialized parking lot.
