In Gorodets, former kindergarten head was convicted of embezzling over 1.2 million rubles
The former head of kindergarten No. 24 in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Region, has been found guilty of fraud and misappropriation of funds.
From October 2019 to March 2025, she fraudulently employed a person and appropriated their salary (over 960 thousand rubles) and demanded that employees return awarded bonuses (more than 270 thousand rubles).
The court sentenced the woman to 3.6 years' suspended imprisonment with a three-year probationary period. Her car has also been seized.
