

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkiria, the 48-year-old woman reported that unknown individuals stole about 14,000 rubles using her bank cards. The police established that the teacher tried to install an application for working on the internet on her mobile phone. After the file was downloaded, a malicious program (Ark.file) was launched on the device, granting the attackers full remote access to the smartphone.
Using the control over the phone they obtained, the scammers initiated the transfer of the victim's personal savings to unidentified bank accounts. The amount of damage was about 14 thousand rubles.
