A plane from Ufa could not land at Pulkovo Airport on the first attempt. The aircraft was forced to perform a go-around twice. The flight was operated by Nordwind Airlines. The incident occurred this morning. A strong crosswind hindered the landing, the press service explained to Bashinform.
"The aircraft successfully landed at its destination at 8:40 a.m. Moscow time," the airline clarified.
Recall that earlier in Ufa, international flights were unable to land due to UAV attacks.
