Resident of Ufa lost 10 million rubles after believing online scammers
He was involved in cryptocurrency and decided to earn additional income through interest.
According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, a resident of Ufa lost 10 million rubles after falling victim to an online scammer. The man had been investing in cryptocurrencies for three years and met a person named Ruslan in a specialized group on a messenger app.
The new acquaintance convinced the man to invest funds in supposedly profitable investments, promising high returns. The victim sent his savings, expecting quick profits, but soon discovered that it was impossible to get the money back.
