Open flames were extinguished at shopping center in Ufa

Rescue crews in Ufa have extinguished open flames in a storage area of a shopping center on Ibragimov Boulevard.

According to the press service of the Bashkortostan branch of the Emergencies Ministry, two operational sectors were established. One team rescued and evacuated people, while the other worked to extinguish the fire. Open burning was eliminated over an area of 30 square meters, and tactical ventilation was used.

A total of 22 people were evacuated, with no injuries reported. Firefighting efforts involved 69 personnel and 22 units of equipment. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated. An investigator and experts from the fire testing laboratory are working at the scene.
