

A 33-year-old resident of Saransk was fined for attempting to "buy" a driver's license for his stepdaughter. The man gave an acquaintance 65,000 rubles to pass on to a traffic police officer. The money was intended to help his stepdaughter pass the theoretical and practical driving exams.
The defendant fully admitted his guilt. Taking into account mitigating circumstances, the court imposed a fine of 150,000 rubles.
