Residents of Republic of Bashkortostan lost almost 3 million rubles to phone scammers

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the victims of fraudsters in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In Sterlitamak, a 20-year-old student suffered from the actions of criminals. He told the police that scammers contacted him via messenger and introduced themselves as employees of government agencies and an educational institution. They convinced the young man to transfer 700,000 rubles under the pretext of maintaining a new electronic diary and sponsoring unfriendly states.

In Oktyabrsky, fraudsters swindled more than 1.5 million rubles from a 27-year-old resident. He was hooked by the "employees" of a website offering intimate services.
