Two forest fires extinguished in Republic of Bashkortostan

Over the past 24 hours, two forest fires were detected and extinguished in the Republic of Bashkortostan. One occurred one kilometer from the village of Kildigulovo in the Burzyansky District, and the other in Burzyan, near Kulganinо.

The affected areas were 0.5 hectares and 50 square meters, respectively.

While in 2024 the number of forest fires decreased tenfold due to rainfall and the total burned area was reduced by 97 times, this summer is forecasted to be hot and dry across most of the country, including the Southern Urals.
