In Bashkiria, woman who fell through ice on Belaya River was rescued
The Republican Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that in Salavat, city rescuers pulled a woman who had fallen through the ice out of the Belaya River.
Not far from the suspension bridge, the woman was walking on the ice and, at some point, fell through, coming close to open water.
Rescuers immediately arrived at the scene and saved the woman, after which they took the medics to the other side of the river and handed over the victim.
The woman is currently in intensive care with hypothermia.
