Pensioner from Bashkiria got back 1.4 million rubles stolen by fraudster
A pensioner from Bashkiria got back more than 1.4 million rubles of stolen savings. The Igarka City Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory heard the case. The prosecutor of the Aurgazinsky District filed a claim with the court to recover unjust enrichment from a resident of the city of Igarka. The basis was the materials of a criminal case initiated under the article "Fraud using electronic means of payment, on an especially large scale." The court satisfied the prosecutor's demands in full.
As reported by the press service of the Republican supervisory agency, in October 2022, the 67-year-old woman's savings were stolen under the pretext of receiving additional income from investments - more than 1.4 million rubles were transferred to the defendant's account.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkiria controls the execution of the court's decision.
