

The families of Bashkir miners who found themselves under rubble at the Pioneer mine in the Amur region arrived at the scene of the tragedy, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The relatives were shown where the collapse occurred and told how the work was progressing. Everyone was accompanied by psychologists.
According to the latest data, ice, clay, and water were found in three drilled wells. They failed to examine the fourth one. Three more are being dug now. Specialists conduct research using a logging truck. Work on the dams' construction was suspended until the danger of repeated water flow was eliminated.
As Bashinform reported, the managing director of the Pioneer mine was detained in the Amur region. Five Bashkiria residents are among the workers who found themselves trapped underground at a depth of more than 120 meters. Four of them are from Sibay, one from Uchaly, and all are aged 31 to 48. Everyone works as machinists. A rock collapse occurred on the evening of March 18 in the Amur region in the Zeya municipal district at the underground mine site.
