Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the plane crash in the Tver region.
“First of all, I want to express my sincere condolences to the victims' families. It is always a tragedy,” the president said.
According to the head of state, the initial data say that employees of the Wagner Company were in the crashed plane.
The President noted that these people have contributed significantly to the fight against the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine.
"We remember this, we know it, and we will not forget it," Vladimir Putin stressed.
The Investigative Committee has initiated and launched a criminal investigation into the plane crash.
