Students were evacuated from buildings of universities and colleges in Ufa

In Ufa, the wave of evacuations does not subside on December 29. As reported earlier, in the morning, the e-mail addresses of schools in the city received messages from unknown persons about the threat of terrorist attacks.

"Children, teachers, and staff of educational institutions were taken out of the buildings to nearby institutions. School principals and teaching staff acted in a well-coordinated and precise manner. Everything was done according to the general procedure in such cases. Parents were also warned through parental chats in messengers," the press service of the city administration explained.

Dog handlers have checked educational institutions. All schools have now been examined. There are no threats to the life of students, the mayor's office said. The morning shifts of some schools were sent home. Those educational institutions that did not receive messages about the threat of a terrorist attack and, accordingly, no checks were made there - canceled classes of the second shift—the evening shift studies on schedule at schools that received the messages and passed the checks.

The administration also reported that messages were received by the city's secondary and higher educational institutions too. Special services were also sent there to inspect buildings.
