Head of Bashkiria gave several instructions after tragedy in Perm

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, promptly instructed the Ministry of Education of the republic and law enforcement agencies to delve into the circumstances of the tragedy in Perm and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of schoolchildren and students.

On September 20, a Timur entered the Perm State University (PGNIU) territory with a firearm and opened fire. According to preliminary data, five people died, six were injured. The press service of the university stated that the shooter had been eliminated. It is known that the attacker published a post on social media a few minutes before the crime, explaining that he was not an extremist and that he was apolitical. He had been preparing that for a long time: “I have been thinking about this for a long time, the years passed, and I realized that the time has come to do what I dreamed of”.
