More than 900 people extinguish natural fires in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, as of 8 pm on August 11, 20 wildfires are active on a total area of ​​3850.80 hectares.

Two of them are in Khaibullinsky, 14 in Burzyansky, two in Zilairsky, one in Zianchurinsky, and one in the Beloretsky district of Bashkiria.

Of these, 16 seats of fire were localized. At the moment, 275 units of equipment and 946 people are involved.

Heavy equipment is being pulled to the place of extinguishing fires. On the morning of August 11, three bulldozers from the Bashkir Soda Company entered the Zianchurinsky District to assist in extinguishing a fire near the village of Bishtiryak.

Volunteers are leaving to help firefighters and residents to fight the fire. Several buses arrived with volunteers from Ufa, consisting of 11 representatives of the World Kurultay of Bashkirs, 20 representatives of the Sibay Drama Theater, and 44 people. In addition, about the same number of volunteers have been taking part for several days in extinguishing a forest fire. The Republican Volunteer Center has announced a gathering of volunteers; you can enroll in their ranks by filling out a google form.

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, flew over the forest fires areas and held a visiting meeting of the emergency operations center, at which they discussed the tactics of eliminating the fires in the Trans-Urals.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bashkiria warns residents of the republic about the extreme fire hazard in the southern regions of the region.
