Fire at Ufaorgsintez plant is under control

The fire at the Ufaorgsintez plant is localized; there is no threat of its spread, the State Committee for Emergency Situations RB informs.

As it became known, currently, fake news about the evacuation in the neighborhood is being spread on WhatsApp. According to the chairman of the State Committee for Emergency Situations, Farit Gumerov, there are no grounds for evacuation; the fire is localized, nothing threatens the neighborhood.

“The fire at Ufaorgsintez has been localized. No fire hazard. Response teams are cooling the equipment close to the scene. There are enough forces and means. As a result of the fire, one person died, one more victim was taken to the hospital. The main installations of the plant did not stop working. Environmental monitoring is carried out on site. The company has an emergency center to coordinate works on the localization of the fire and to investigate the causes of the incident," PJSOC Bashneft commented.

Tonight, two containers for gas discharge exploded at the Ufaorgsintez plant, and a fire broke out.
