Radiy Khabirov after fatal accident suggested prohibiting driving after three violations

Most of the passengers of the bus, which overturned on the highway in Bashkiria, were killed and injured because of not fastened seat belts. This was reported on social media by the Acting Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov.

“Unfortunately, the dead were mostly not fastened, although the belts were available, and almost all who did it survived”, marked the head of the region.

Radiy Khabirov also stressed that in the republic, as before, “the situation is quite bad with control over the quality of drivers work”. A man from Naberezhnye Chelny, who drove the bus, repeatedly (18 times) was prosecuted for speeding.

Besides, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan proposed not to allow driving after three traffic violations, at least for bus drivers of state enterprises, as it is customary in some foreign countries.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that on July 14, on the Ufa-Inzer-Beloretsk highway, a passenger bus overturned. 39 people were there. Six of them died. 13 were injured. The investigative committee of the region initiated a criminal case. The investigation is supervised by the prosecutor's office.
