Ufa police seized more than 9 thousand liters of counterfeit alcohol

Ufa policemen seized a large consignment of counterfeit alcohol.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Interior in Bashkiria, at one of the stops in the village of Zinino, Oktyabrsky district of Ufa, when inspecting two trucks, the police found more than 18,000 glass bottles and metal cans with various denominations without excise stamps. The total amount of counterfeit alcohol exceeded 9 thousand liters.

According to preliminary estimates, the cost of seized alcohol products is more than 3.5 million rubles.

A criminal case is initiated. The investigation is being conducted.
