Bashkiria native survived after falling under train in Moscow metro

A 31-year-old native of Bashkiria survived after falling under a train in the Moscow metro, TASS reports, citing the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Moscow metro.
The incident happened this morning at about 06.56 Moscow time at the Seligerskaya metro station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. The man fell under the arriving electric train. The driver applied emergency braking, but the train hit the passenger by inertia. The man survived but was injured. Doctors diagnosed him with a cut wound of the right hand, multiple bruised wounds.
The victim was hospitalized to the N.V. Sklifosovsky Federal Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.
According to eyewitnesses, the passenger fell due to his negligence. The victim himself explained that when approaching the edge of the platform, he suddenly felt dizzy, and fell due to it.
Information about the incident was sent to the prosecutor's office of the Moscow metro.
