Fire occurred in Ufa kindergarten with more than 60 people evacuated

On November 12, at 12:55 pm, the Center for Crisis Management at the Regional Emergency Situations Ministry received a report about the fire in the building of kindergarten No. 66 in Blucher Street. According to the press service of the “22nd Detachment of the Federal Fire-Fighting Service RB”, the forces and facilities of the Ufa Fire and Rescue Garrison — seven units of equipment and 24 personnel, as well as doctors, employees of the gas service and electricity networks — immediately went at the scene.

Employees of the kindergarten independently evacuated 48 children and 13 employees.

“According to the preliminary data, a washing machine in the basement caught fire. At 1:08 pm the fire was localized on an area of ​​2 square meters, open burning was eliminated at 1:09 pm. There were no fatalities and injured people. The situation is under the control of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation for Bashkortostan”, the department informs.
