Soldiers from Ufa suffered during all-army competition near Murom

An accident in the Vladimir region at the all-army competition of pontoon-ferrying units "Open Water" took place on June 29. However, local media report this only now with reference to officials and doctors.

"During a semifinal of the contest on the sandy shore of the River Oka during the movement of the heavy military equipment column, two vehicles collided in the conditions of poor visibility due to the dust raised by the wheels. Seven military men were injured: six of them with broken hands and legs were taken to a hospital in Nizhny Novgorod, one with a hip fracture was hospitalized in Vladimir", said Yury Irinchuk, general director of the Muromsky Meridian TV and Radio Company.

According to the speaker, all the soldiers came to the army competition from Ufa. Now the military prosecutors are investigating the accident.
