KamAZ truck rammed traffic light post in Ufa

UFA, 22 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Ufa, a "KamAZ" emergency vehicle crashed into a traffic light post. The road accident took place on Bakalinskaya Street on June 22. The hit was so strong that the road construction collapsed on a car passing by. According to eyewitnesses who posted photos in the «BashDTP» VKontakte group, the Kia car was accidentally covered with the post.

The city «Road Patrol» reports that the truck knocked down a power transmission post with traffic lights and a road sign. There are no victims. The area suffers problems with electricity. Traffic lights are de-energized, trolleybus traffic is suspended. A traffic jam was formed on the road.

Inspectors of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate will investigate into the circumstances and the reasons of the accident.
