Transport Prosecutor's Office will check "VIM-Avia" airline concerning delays and canceled flights

The Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office organized an audit of the legislation implementation on the delays of VIM-Avia flights, as well as their cancellations from June 2 of this year. This is reported on the official website of the supervisory authority.

An assessment will be made of timely informing tour operators of the flights cancellation, observance of the compensation payment procedure in connection with non-fulfillment of carriage contracts, completeness of measures taken by the control bodies in the sphere of civil aviation. Based on the audit results, a comprehensive set of measures for prosecutorial response will be adopted.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, two flights of this air carrier were delayed from the Ufa airport for a long period of time.
