Bashkortostan native was interrogated in connection with terrorist act in St. Petersburg metro

UFA, 4 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. A native of Bashkortostan was interrogated in connection with a terrorist act in the metro of St.Petersburg. A photo captured by CCTV camera of a person suspected of committing the crime was spread in the media. During the terrorist attack he was at the Sennaya Ploshchad station.

According to the publication of «Komsomolskaya Pravda-Ufa», the man was soon detained. According to other sources, he himself came to the police. The visitor from Bashkortostan passed all the necessary stages of checking for involvement in the terrorist act.

It is noted that the native of our republic was cleared of suspicion also due to the fact that, according to preliminary data, a suicide bomber body had been found among the dead people.
