Shuttle bus driver drove under influence of narcotics in Ufa

UFA, 3 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa on Friday morning road traffic inspectors detained a bus driver, who showed signs of drug intoxication. He was driving a bus with five passengers. On Thursday afternoon, a Maxus van drove into the oncoming lane. The 29-year-old driver of the public transport vehicle was drunk, and, moreover, in November 2016 he was disqualified for driving under the influence. These examples were cited in his blog by the Head of the Republican Traffic Police Dinar Gilmutdinov, telling about the results of preventive inspections of passenger buses.

Over the past day in the republic about 1100 traffic violations were revealed, of which more than half of in Ufa - 653. Almost 50 percent of violations were accounted for driving of technically defective vehicles (in Ufa - 294 cases).
