Rustem Khamitov congratulated prosecutors on their professional holiday

On January 17, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the solemn meeting devoted to the 295th anniversary of the Russian Federation Prosecutor's Office. The Head of the Republic congratulated the staff of the Prosecutor's Office RB on their professional holiday and outlined the main directions of work.

Rustem Khamitov named among the problems facing the republican prosecutor's office fight against crime and corruption, supervision of compliance with law in such areas as labour, social and housing rights protection, unreasonable overpricing, improper activity on collecting loan debts, irregularities in payroll and pensions. According to him, it is also important to continue work on reducing administrative burden on business, to participate in the standards-related activities, to protect the rights and interests of citizens in new areas related to the information technology development.

“It is significant that the number of citizens' complaints against law enforcement officials, in particular prosecutors reduces annually. It is a pleasant fact”, said Rustem Khamitov. “Your department has qualified personnel, actively develops its activities, expanding functions and powers of the units. Professionalism and responsibility of public prosecutors, their ability to operate effectively in the most difficult situations are commendable.”
