Extreme sports lover was fined for driving quad bike in Iremel Park in Bashkiria

UFA, 27 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkortostan a native of Kazan was brought to administrative responsibility for riding a quad bike in the territory of the Iremel Natural Park.

As reported previously by our agency, an unprecedented event was fixed by CCTV camera on June 12, 2016, when a group of extreme sports fans entered illegally the specially protected natural territory on four quad bikes and made damage to the natural park. The tourists rode in their vehicles up to the foot of the Big Iremel Mountain cutting down several trees on their way.

The Republican Environmental Prosecutor's Office checked this fact. The head of the extreme tour was fined for three thousand rubles.

The Iremel Park territory is a unique ecological system. More than 40 species of rare animals inhabit it. Any damage to its nature requires a long recovery. Any activity that may cause damage to it is forbidden in the specially protected natural territory, including movement of motor vehicles.
